Ancient Signet Engagement Ring
The origins of the signet ring date back thousands of years - some say as far as ancient Mesopotamia. Historically, signet rings were embossed with insignias indicating family heritage and societal position. They were often worn by men, and used as stamps to officially sign documents.
Our gender-neutral Ancient Signet Ring bears no heritage crests but makes an attractive statement with its heirloom look and feel. Knife-edge bands on either side of this organically shaped, round face create the band’s characteristic signet look.
- With a star bead-set 3mm (approx. .11ct) round stone
- Top of ring is ~7mm wide but tapers to a slim 1.75mm in back
- Available with a variety of stones
- Made in a range of recycled metals
- Matte or shiny finish
