Embracing Change: A Sabbatical Year Announcement
After careful consideration, I've decided to embark on a sabbatical year of introspection and recharging. This decision stems from the need to address repetitive stress injuries, spend time with my family, and pursue new creative endeavors.
As a result of this sabbatical, there's a notable shift in how Aide-mémoire will function. Our brick-and-mortar store will close on June 29th, and we will pause most made-to-order or bespoke requests during this time. Select made-to-order rings will continue to be available through the summer.
During the sabbatical, in-stock items will remain available through our website, and we will add more in-stock pieces throughout the year. Additionally, we will continue to service our jewelry during this time. Our commitment to providing quality jewelry and excellent service remains steadfast.
I'm excited about creating new jewelry during this time. These creations will be unveiled during regular shop updates, allowing you to add these unique pieces to your collection. We will also release batches of Magic Ring Holder Necklaces® in the shop updates throughout the year. I encourage you to sign up for the Aide-mémoire email list to stay in the loop about these updates.
As I dive into this sabbatical, I invite you to follow my other creative pursuits. This year is about more than just stepping back; it's an opportunity to explore new avenues and share different facets of my creativity. Whether it's through jewelry or other projects, I'd love for you to join me on this exciting journey.
So, how can you stay connected? First and foremost, sign up to be notified of Aide-mémoire shop updates. This ensures you won't miss out on new releases or limited editions. Additionally, consider following my other creative endeavors by signing up for the AranMade mailing list.
Stay in the loop!
Reflecting on our journey, I am grateful for your unwavering support. Over the past 11 years, we've grown the business, navigated through the challenges of the pandemic, opened a brick-and-mortar store, and weathered the storm of three burglaries. Your support during these challenging times has been the backbone of our resilience.
We greatly appreciate customers like you who care about high-quality handmade jewelry crafted in the US. Your commitment to supporting local businesses has played a pivotal role in our growth and success. It's customers like you who make our journey meaningful and fulfilling.
I look forward to reconnecting with you through shop updates, sharing my creative journey, and continuing to create future heirlooms.
Thank you for being part of this exciting chapter.
Warm regards,
Aran
