. Lab-grown Padparadscha Sapphire

The name padparadscha comes from the Sinhalese word for lotus blossom, and the color is just as delicate: a warm mix of pink and orange that runs from pale peach to rich coral. Natural padparadscha is among the rarest sapphires, and lab-grown gives you the same glow at a more approachable price. It’s available in a wide range of sizes and cuts, including custom cuts.

Looking for a morganite engagement ring? Padparadscha sapphire is available in a similar pale blush color and is more durable, so it holds up much better to everyday wear.

Lab-grown sapphires have very high clarity, whereas natural sapphires commonly contain inclusions. Their color is also more consistent than natural sapphire, though it still varies from stone to stone.
