Happy September to you all. Our Aide-mémoire team got together for a picnic party this month. It was a wonderful gathering of our current staff and team members from seasons past. While our team is small, we don't all work in the same location and see each other on a daily basis. So it was a wonderful opportunity to have us all gathered in one spot. Aran graciously provided good food and drink, and introduced eco-dyeing to us all! Using botanical, organic materials like flower petals, leaves, and herbs everyone got to try bundle dyeing a t-shirt.
Our talented and friendly photographer, Sean Airhart, took some incredible photos that we wanted to share with you. Hope all of you enjoy the last bits of summer before we truly head into autumn.
Alaina, Alexa share some good conversation on the left. And ... it's baby season! Alexa and Francesca form the cutest baby huddle I've ever seen with their newest family members. One of our jewelers, Sloan, contemplating their next move while playing the lawn game Kubb.
Eco-dyeing our shirts at the picnic, using the earth's bounty! Rachel, our master engraver and stone-setter, thoughtfully places their dye on a shirt.
The universe smiled down on us with some good weather for our picnic. We chatted with friends and co-workers, pet dogs, and had some laughs! For fun and games, we played a lawn game called Kubb. Ever tried it? It's a great all-ages (well except for toddlers), game that anyone can play.
Thanks Aide-mémoire Team for a fun day at the park!
